NGOs, or non-governmental organizations, play an important role in addressing poverty, inequality, and other social issues around the world. However, many NGOs, particularly donor NGOs, take a approach of simply making donations without any further involvement in the communities they serve. While well-intentioned, this approach has been shown to be less effective in achieving sustainable change and may even perpetuate a dependency on continued donations.

A dedicated team of volunteers from GhanMark Foundation in Denmark joined our partners in Ghana to donate 10 laptop computers and some school supplies to the leadership and students of AFUTA GLORYLAND SCHOOL COMPLEX in Agbozume, Volta Region of Ghana in West Africa.
